congrats, the_nagle! Will hopefully be seeing you in Oct 2009! You won't feel the time pass until we're there!
Just a quick question, what are the backgrounds of those that have been accepted/applied? As in degrees, age. work experience etc?

Congratulations on your admission to the London School of Economics, The_Nagle. All the best.
hada, that was an inspiring piece you wrote entitled "Choices". It shows a lot of courage and character. Wishing you well in your other applications and I do hope you make the right choice. Good luck.

Has anybody else heard something about LSE??
Posted Jan 19, 2009 20:08
No. But I sure am looking that site some 25 times a day.
Posted Jan 19, 2009 22:31
Yes, I can relate! I figure that it is unlikely for there to be any updates to the site after about 5 p.m. English time (the usual end of the work day) ... although who knows, right? I'm not sure if the decisions are posted on the site immediately when they are entered, or if there is a lag.

Hehehe i dont check it like 25 times per day otherwise I would have gone crazy by now. I checked it like twice in the morning and the twice in the afternoon. So its 4 times per day!!!
Good luck guys,,,lets hope for the best :)

Any other procrastinators out there that make me feel better about not having sent my application yet? I am stressed out!!! I intend to send my application to Oxford tomorrow and have been putting of my application to LSE since there is no deadline... plan to do that next week!

Thanks opinio, I will be keeping that blog updated from well, last week, until the day I graduate from the LLM (whichever it may be!!)

As I said I received a conditional offer yesterday (on the admission tracker), but I have not received any e-mail. I ask myself if it is normal.
Thanks,

I've received a conditional offer, that I must finish my master's degree with 70% (which is very do-able) and pass the IELTS test with 7.5 or TOEFL IBT with 114.
I had gotten 107 on the TOEFL iBT in October, and know I can get 110 because I screwed up on one part of writing, but 114 is extremely much? :s
