Hello friends, I need some suggestions on a choice I have to make. I've received offers from QMUL and UCL and would be grateful to have some thoughts as to which one is better. I intend pursuing LLM in finance.
Any thoughts?

No news so far, unfortunately.

Sorry if it’s a silly question. I was wondering what exactly do you mean with the transcript movement?

It’s not a silly question, some of the earlier posters noted that the list of submitted documents in their LSE For You application page changed shortly before receiving an offer. The transcript listing moves to the bottom of the pile of received documents.

Thank you for explaining this. I’ll ge keeping an eye on it - it hasn’t changed at all thus far.

Hi everyone, my transcript moved down today. I applied in early December and got my ID around the 20th.
Pls let us know if you have any update. :)
I received unconditional offer from KCL today. I submitted my app on Jan 17, and my status on portal have never changed until today. I hope this information could be some help to who are waiting to hear back from KCL.

1.2.3.4.5.

To those who have called the admissions team:
1. Do you think it is useful to call and ask about the results?
2. If yes, what is the phone number? (I cannot find it.)
3. Is it possible that they have already made a decision but have not notified me yet?

Today concludes my 10th week of a seemingly endless period. Congrats to those who have received an offer.

Strange question, but does anyone who meets the academic requirements of QMUL get rejected? I am sure it does happen, but have not encountered any instances of it after extensive Googling.

Queen Mary is first in most rankings for general LLMs, higher than UCL actually. It's very famous to people in the field, so it wouldn't matter if you said you did your LLM at QMUL, because of its high ranking and good reputation.

Hi all I received offers from KCL and UCL (LLM). I’am interested in courses of digital rights and also regulated markets. Which one would you choose?

They are both really good unis. UCL is higher in the rankings, but KCL is rated very high as well. An interesting thing about UCL is that although it's ranked v high in the UK, it is not so well-known outside the UK, which is strange, but well...Moreover, I have a friend who did Law at UCL and he said it was the worst experience of his life, but it is only a subjective opinion; it really depends on the person. If I were you, I'd consider aspects other than the rankings, such as the respective locations in London, eventual costs ( these, however, will be comparable, taken that they are both in London, which is hella expensive.) Also, have a look at the publications in your field; KCL is generally regarded as excellent in terms of research quality, but yet, UCL is more "prestigious."

Thank you! It is a difficult choice!

I also applied to LSE but I haven’t heard back from them yet (applied Dec 16/ ID Jan 11).

Hi guys,

For LSE, when the transcripts moves down in the portal, is that just an indication that a decision has been made (acceptance or rejection) or is it a good sign (probably accepted)?
