Unfortunately I was put on the waiting list. LSE should let me know in 6 months its final decision. But anyway many congratulations to those who have been admitted!!!

Banker, sorry to hear you will need to wait longer.

May I ask, when did LSE receive your complete application? Did they take 8 weeks from receipt of your complete application?

Thanks

Hi Jasonjb,

At first many congratulations to your admission! I wonder if you have to accept the offer within 6 weeks as then it would make sense that I have to wait 6 more weeks for final decision.

Hi, I applied on november 3rd. I was put on the waiting list, as well as all the people (I know) from my country who applied in november...anyways, we just have to wait, 6 weeks its not that long.

I will probably need to wait until after the christmas break - mine is still under consideration.

Did they take long?

Heard from any other schools yet?

Best wishes

Quite Interesting. I do not have a clue how admission procedure works with the waiting list. I guess that in every round they send out several offers and then they wait how many offers will be accepted and according to it they offer place to those on the waiting list. But who knows...........

Thanks for the congrats. I was very pleased. LSE says that you have to accept within 6 weeks of receiving the letter of offer. In reality, however, that won't give away any places if you take longer to decide. I don't want to make a decision until I've heard back from other places - Columbia, Cambridge, Michigan and NYU.

Hey

Just received my offer of admission to LSE today too. I applied fairly early in November. Pretty pleased but like everyone else, waiting to hear back from a few other places.

Banker,

I think my No1 is Michigan - but I'd love to go to LSE as well. It will be a difficult choice if I get into Michigan.

I also like Columbia because of its strength in IP law - which is my area. However, Michigan has an excellent program housed in a really nice university town environment. I think I may geet too distracted in NY!!!
