The School of Law at Queens University, Belfast, has launched a taught LLM in Law and Governance with opportunities to specialize in some of the most challenging issues facing the policy community in the world today:

New Postgraduate Opportunities:

- Governance and Sustainable Development

- Governance, Globalisation and Economic Competition

- Governance and Devolution



This topical LLM has been designed to meet a growing need for postgraduates who can navigate complex issues associated with EU, global, national and regional governance. There will be a special focus on teaching the analytical skills required to work across policy areas.

In addition it will adopt a strong international focus with teaching input by leading academics and practitioners.

Is there a part-time option?

To facilitate students and employers who require flexible study arrangements a two-year part-time route is available.

Who should apply?

Graduates and professionals with interests in law, politics, economics, sociology or related fields.

Is financial support available?

Yes, a number of bursaries will be available on a competitive basis.

Entrance requirements:

Applicants must have a degree in law (normally 2.1 or above, or equivalent) or in a closely related academic discipline (e.g. politics, economic, sociology).

Relevant experience in the private and public sectors will also be taken into consideration for mature applicants.
