LLM in UCL?

I see from UCL's website that the deadline for their 2007/08 LLM programs is 31 July 2007 and 1 September 2007 for int and home students respectively. Anyone still in the midst of applying or intends to apply to UCL?

Hi!

I'm considering applying to UCL's LLM. the reason i haven't done ti allready it's because my IELTS is scheduled for the 19th of May.

I'm finishing my 4-years degree in law school.
Right now, i'm beginig to feel a litle bit frightened because everybody applies in december, january and february...

do you think it is too late to do it?
i hope not...

I think that the sooner you apply, the better. Do not lose one more month waiting for your IELTS exam and the results. You should apply right now informing them that you are going to pass the IELTS very soon.

Hi Malaysia Boleh,

Sorry, I think you must have been asked a thousand times but:-
1) How is UCL's LLM rated by the legal recruiters and law firms?
2) Do you have any plans to seek employment in UK?
3) Just wondering whether the LLM would increase foreigners' (Asians) employability in UK's legal market.

I will submit my application to UCL next week. Maybe it is too late but will still try.

Can anyone give any thoughts on whether someone with a 3.2 from a US law school (2d tier), significant pre-law school work experience including work on Capitol Hill (U.S. Senate), one published article in a peer-review article (which was subsequently cited as an authority in an Oxford Uni Press publication), NY bar membership, and a year working at a small American firm in London stands a chance at getting into UCL if the application is sent before the end of the month (June 2007)? Many thanks!
