Hi guys, does anybody here knows whether LLM degrees provided by University of Birmingham are recognised by SRA (Solicitor Regulatory Authority)?
And Can i apply for LPC after my LLM from Birmingham?
Your responses will be much appreciated.
Thanx

Although I am not a British lawyer or student, I am pretty certain that obtaining an LLM degree will not make you eligible for the LPC irrespective of which university you attend. To my knowledge, you are required to obtain an LLB (3 years) or GDL (1 year) in order to be eligible.

You need to obtain an LLB or GDL from a UK institution prior to attending the LPC. Alternatively, to the extent that you are admitted to the Indian bar, you can become a UK solicitor by means of the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme.
