Hi everybody,
I am Bhushan, I'm from India, I just completed my LLB and planning to join LLM in the UK . I've applied for Kingston University, University of East London, and Derby. Could any of you rate these universities, and please tell me which University has the best ratings for LLM? What are my chances at qualifing as a solicitor, and the procedure??
thank you..
Bhushan

they are almost in the same level , But both, East london and kingston are new universities ( established in 1992) ..
I dont know much about Derby but its an old one , still i dont think the law department is strong enough there ..
personal ranking:
1-Kingston
2-East London
3-Derby

These universities are not rated very highly - as you'll be paying a lot of LLM study in England - apply to better universities!

Hello there,
I am biased, because I run the Law School, but the fact that my Law School has been rated as joint top for teaching and the highest "new" University in the Education Guardian's league tables, together with being rated second of all Law Schools (old and new) in the independent National Student Survey, as well as having won awards, including for our service to overseas students, suggests that we are not all that bad.
I would be happy to discuss which would be the better course for your preferred area of study. we are great friends with Kingston and would want you to study at the best place for you, academically. Happy to advise you.
