It took about six weeks for my status to update from stage 2 to stage 3. Quite a few people seem to have had faster results, though, so it may vary depending on which LL.M. program you applied to. Good luck!

Stage 2's description is something like "your application has now been passed to the admissions office for consideration" (I'm paraphrasing a bit since I don't have the exact language in front of me right now). Basically, this is where your application materials are considered once everything (letters, documents, etc.) has arrived.
All in all, I found King's application process to be fairly streamlined. It seems there are multiple admission teams which review the applications, so one team might reach a decision in three weeks while another might take five. I don't know if all of the international business law applicants are directed to one group while another specialization gets a different group, or if each team handles multiple specializations, but either way it's done seems to be vastly quicker than whatever process LSE and UCL are using.
To CR1, I applied for the International Business Law specialization. Yourself?

I have submitted online application form of KCL today and havent yet got any e-mail confirmation of the same. Generally for most of the colleges when one submits online forms the confirmation comes immediately but i guess for KCL, it takes a while..
I have a small query regarding the reco letters? Do i need to also send them the original reco letters simultaneously or should i have to wait till they ask for one....
Somebody, plzz lemme know whether i need to send them the letters immediately or after they ask for it....

Hi xdude,
I completed mine via online application and I received their email regarding the tracking process a week later. For the rec lets, I sent them the original ones coz I didnt ask the recommenders to submit their let online. So if u use online rec process, i dun think u need to submit the original one. But if u still feel uncertain, u may email them.
Cheers!

Hi I have a query regarding the reco letters.
I applied online using scanned copies of my reco letters since it wasnt possible for my recommenders to submit recos online. Is that acceptable? Should I send the hard copies immediately or wait till they ask for it?

How many TOEFL paper based points you needed for King's?
Is it possible that for different LL.M offers they require a different ammount of TOEFL points?
sb know how much are needed this day?
paper based: 630 pts
computer based: 267
May this be correct? cheers for an answer or a link...

I think it takes them around 14-15 (official line) days to acknowledge receipt of documents and start the tracker, though in the past it has taken even a month for that to happen.
If you sent it a couple of weeks ago, you have to make allowance for the holidays that ended on the 5th. Don't worry it shall start sooner than later.

I also submitted my application on the 6th, had also scanned and uploaded my reco letters and transcript but havent received any email confirmation on the same. It seems Kings normally take more than 2 weeks to send out emails confirmation on application submission.
