KCL LLM Grad

I am glad that I did the program, but I think each experience depends upon how much effort you put into it. I wound up with a great job because I worked really hard without the support of the King's administration. The school has great contacts in terms of professor name and that may help in the job search, but the Career Development team is essentially worthless - IE they will hand you a book with firm names and tell you to start looking. So you will have to do your own networking and hope something works out.

Bottom line - you will have to do your own research and make that determination for yourself. BTW - QM may have an internship program (not sure), which you should investigate with the school itself. The admissions department would know, so don't rely on board posts for your information.

Hey, wat I want to know is with regard to staff support 'cause wat Ive heard abt King's is that they don't give much attention to LLM students and LLB students are more important to them. Whereas, in Queen Mary's the professors take personal interest in the students and this does not happen in Kings. Is there any truth in this? I think I will call up Queen Marys abt this internship program, but I have prepared myself to the fact that finding a there job will be primarily my headache!

So which of the kings residences did u stay in? Wats the student life like in kings?

Thanks for being so patient with the details ;)
