just one question: Does this "received and being process" change, when your application is forwarded to the academic comittee?

No it stayed the same.

Though they told me via email that my application will now be forwarded - but that was only because I had one missing item which was needed before they could send it forward.

The status remained the same - until it changed to 'Unconditional Offer'.

Thanks Glasgowlaw. Good to know. I was confused b/c on the King's website, they say: "Applications cannot be processed until at least one reference is received." In another part of the website, they also say: "In some cases, your application can be processed with one reference."

I'm glad I don't have to wait for another application status update though before the final decision comes in!

Apparently, they are having some problems with the system...

Since I got the information that I got accepted, but not in a formal e-mail, I asked them if I would get it by the end of this week and they said that they couldnt guarantee...

I got into King's today! Got an unconditional offer. I heard only 2 weeks after I submitted my online application and only 3 days after my 2nd reference letter was submitted online, which makes me think that they didn't even look at the 2nd reference letter. Now I'm just waiting on LSE and UCL, but I'm so relieved I got into 1 of the schools already! What are everyone's thoughts on KCL v. UCL v. LSE? I think LSE is still my top pick because of its reputation in the U.S. (where I'm from), but I'd like to hear other thoughts on this. I'm not 100% sure I'll go to the U.S. directly after the LLM year, but almost certain I will eventually end up in the U.S.

today i received a conditional offer both from kings and ucl...
just perfect.. now i have to w8 for my IELTS results, followed by a tough decision between those universities... hmmm, got no clue... :)

Has anyone else not heard from King's yet? I haven't, and I'm starting to get very worried!

When will they have made all decisions by, does anyone know? It's only two days to go until the deadline (Wednesday 31st March).

Will they have many offers left to give out at this (late) stage??

Does anyone know if there's a way to extend the deadline for responding to an offer from King's? In the alternative, what's the harm in accepting the offer if there's no deposit and then later revoking the offer and going to a different school?

I'm still waiting to hear back from LSE, but I only have a few weeks left before I have to submit my decision to King's. I was thinking in the worst case scenario that I'll just accept King's, and if I get into LSE, tell King's that I will not be attending the King's program. Because there is no deposit required, I'm not sure what the disadvantage is of doing this...Anyone know?

There's no drawback of doing this! Just accept first and decline later, if necessary.

hi everyone..got a conditional offer from KCL pretty long back..condition being that my aggregate score of LLb should be 65% or above and to my utter disappointment my aggregate uptil now (9th sem) is jus 62% presently and might only increase by a few decimals (jus one more sem to go). will i be declined a place even though i possess other stuff such as internships, moot court competitions etc etc??

I have not received my fee schedule along with KCL's offer letter. Though in the letter they say that that the fee schedule and guidance notes are enclosed, but there is nothing enclosed with it. I e-mailed the admissions ofice twice, but they are not replying. I dont want to come in the limelight by again and again emailing them or calling them. It doesnt give a good impression. What do i do ? Some one please suggest.

Hi ab123, did you try to contact them via the KCL Online Portal? They usually answer within 1-2 working days - or at least they did that with me. You could also just phone them directly, as it's the quickest solution. I don't think they will mind, after all making sure everyone receives their fee schedules is in their interest ;) good luck!
