QM and UCL are particularly good for financial and public law. SOAS is good for international law. What area are you looking to specialise in?

I'm doing media law and IP myself - I chose UCL - it was definitely the best option. In terms of media law you are taught by Professor Barendt - he's a leading authority in UK media law. I would seriously consider UCL - but I am biased!! :-)) Its going to be really hard for nxt year's applicants to know what to do until the inter-collegiate LLM question is finally resolved.

Guys,

I'm looking for a good university for International Commercial Law. Is really Queen Mary one of the best?
Has anyone studied this course there? I'm focusing in international contracts.

Thanks a lot!
Best wishes!

Fab ,
I also intend to focus on International Commercial Law, LSE is a good choice There is prof Hartley who teaches International Commercial Litigation- he is very good academic and I have attended a few of his lectures. Of course UCL is also a top priority.

But now that we have seen your photo, I dont mind joining QM or which ever college that accepts you...I think any college would be happy to accept you...:)

Good Luck!!!!

Hi guys.
I am interested in International Commercial Law and I am starting my LLM at UCL.
Of course I will choose international commercial litigation (prof Ian Fletcher) but...what about the other subjects?
I can not choose -international and comparative commercial arbitration (prof douglas, UCL)- and -international trade law (prof bridge, UCL)- because of the hours, so i thought to choose -european community competition law- -international construction contracts and arbitration- or -international and comparative commercial arbitration (from Queen Mary, i can not choose the correspondent course of Ucl because of hours). What do you think?
