Not yet. Not sure if this is getting strange as in previous years, some people seemed to get offers in February

Good luck to all of you!

I'm still at DC - rejected for the LLM. Do you know if it's the same deadline for handing out decisions for the LLM and the MCL (15 March) or if it's 15 April for the MCL?

Does anyone know whether the committee that considers MCL applications is the same committee as the one who looks at LLMs'?

Any updates?

Hi guys, today I received a college offer from Girton. It took less than two weeks to receive the offer. I didn't receive any e-mail.

I didn't put any preference in my application. I heard that if you don't put any preference you are sent to the least requested ones, Homerton, Girton and Hughes Hall.

Good luck to all!

Noooo updates. Compared to how the LLM applications are being handled we'll probably not get any news until 15 May...

Hi guys,

Have you ever heard of an applicant who got rejected from the LLM but accepted in the MCL ?

I guess it would be surprising, especially considering how small the MCL class is, but at the same time I keep thinking that when an applicant has applied to both programs but has a strong corporate law background, it may make sense that he gets rejected from the LLM but accepted in the MCL.
Also such candidate may not look the strongest in the LLM pool given that he will face the best candidates from all specialties, but his application may look better compared only to those with a corporate law profile.

Look into last year's Cambridge LLM thread. I remember someone getting into the MCL, although getting rejected from the LLM.

Also, lots of EU nationals won't apply for the MCL given its significant higher costs'.

It seems that everyone forget about MCL applicants. No news. Is it true?

This is good news indeed. In short this means that there are approx. 99% chances that you will be offered a seat on the MCL. Congrats!
