I have heard they normally release decisions mid-February. If this is true, we are just a couple of weeks away.

Wondering if anyone has passed the Degree Committee stage so far. My status hasn't changed for more than a week now.

They are the same thing at the Faculty of Law, apparently. The department bit of the admissions process only applies to faculties that are divided into various departments.

Another MCL applicant here. I moved to BoGS. Don't know when though, as I didn't review CamSIS for two weeks. Do you know how high are the chances of being admitted after moving to BoGS?

Hi, on Friday I received an e-mail from the Graduate Admissions office asking for my original-language trancripts. After that, my status changed from "Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies" to "Application awaiting approval by BGS".

When I e-mailed them saying that I uploaded the transcripts to CamSIS I received an automatic reply which - in part - said "If you are waiting for a formal offer of admission from the Board of Graduate Studies please be aware that we currently have a 5 working day turnaround time for processing degree committee recommendations. Please do keep checking your self-service account for any updates."

I guess that they send out decisions after 5 days from being BoGSed, unless they need something else, which is my case. I'll let you know when I receive an answer.

Congrats! Did you upload any language related documents with scores meeting their minimum requirement? Thx.

I applied on November 7. On that same date I uploaded all necessary documents, including the TOEFL score report, English version of the transcripts (my university issues both English and Spanish reports) and CV.

From past threads I understand that the chances of being admitted are high, but I read that someone was rejected even after going to the "Application awaiting approval by BGS" status, so I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens.
