I got allocated at Downing roughly one month and a half ago. I'm now completing the accommodation form and I was wondering what the major differences between band 1-2 and band 3-4 rooms are. Also, always regarding the accommodation form, I've been told the course end date is 30/06/2017. Is that correct?

I got allocated at Downing too. I cannot advise on the state of the accommodation but I put down 16 June 2017 as the course end date, which is the date I found here: https://www.cam.ac.uk/about-the-university/term-dates-and-calendars

I was wondering if anyone could shed light on Cambridge MCL v. Cambridge LLM (for one who is interested in a career in corporate laws). I got through both and I have to choose one and being an overseas student the difference in the cost of the duo is not a decision making factor.

MCL appears to be promising but is relatively very new. Also, there isn't a lot of information available about the same otherwise in the internet.

Do law firms (corporate practice) in UK consider MCL to have the stellar reputation as stated in their website?

My admission has just been confirmed. Does anyone know when further information about the payment are likely to be given to me? I read on the website that it has to be done directly to the College you are allocated at as soon as you arrive in Cambridge, so I was wondering what other actions I am supposed to take before that moment.
