Out of curiosity - has anyone managed to get an offer with a good/high 2:1/upper second degree? I am well aware that this would be difficult, but is not unheard of.

Yes, i know about 4 over the years!

I doubt that.

Please tell us their (real) names so we can verify that.

Congratulations! Was Girton your second choice? How long was the period between receiving a decision from Jesus and being accepted into Girton?

Hi, I guess it was about a 1-2 weeks interval? I don't check my CAMSIS regularly so I can't be too certain of the time. Girton wasn't in my choices. I wasn't particular about the college selection, I just didn't want a women only/ graduate only college.

If someone else had asked, maybe i would have replied. But just be sure that it is possible and i know a couple of admitted students this same year, back home, with upper seconds.

I have also heard of people getting in with high 2.1s; even though in most cases they either were Cambridge graduates or had substantial work experience.

anybody here applied to MCL program and received a decision. my application status on camsis says " awaiting consideration by department" . What does this mean? I have a fear that this means i am not getting admitted...

I read somewhere that some colleges can only offer you a place if you have met all the conditions of your offer. Nonetheless I was allocated to Sidney Sussex before accepting the offer and meeting its conditions.

Hi, just to answer a couple of questions on here, I've been admitted to the MCL and have been accepted by Darwin College. Searching for the college was triggered automatically as soon I got my conditional offer.

From my side, in terms of the conditions, has anyone got a condition stating:

"Missing Bachelor's Transcript" In your application you told us you had completed a Bachelor's Degree. You must submit, by post, an original or certified copy of your Bachelor's Degree Transcript.

Almost sounds like they've lost it or something, or is this normal? Any insight would be welcome. Cheers!

Hi, this is OK.
You need to send them an original/ certified copy of your transcripts by post. I sent it by international UPS courier and they deleted the condition. Don't worry just send it.

Hi! I've been allotted to Sidney Sussex. I'm fairly lost on Cambridge colleges, so I'd be grateful if someone could tell me a bit about it generally and as a college for LL.M. applicants, thanks!

Hi, I called them yesterday and was told that decisions have already been started to come out on a rolling basis and will be keep on coming until the end of May. Most of the decisions will be made in April and mid-May.
Good luck to all of us!
