So no rejections so far?


I will probably be one of the firsts, now that I have asked. :s

It seems that everyone posting on this forum has thus far been BOGSed or still 'awaiting decision'.

So does that mean no one has been rejected yet, and rejections are only handed out after the 15th?

On a somewhat related note, does anyone have the past statistics for the admission/application rate of the Cantab LLM?

According to the Application Tracker, someone from the Netherlands got an offer today. Is this thing reliable?

I think we may be putting too much stock in CamSIS. The Cambridge LLM website says:
If your application is successful, you will also receive a formal offer notification from the GAO by email.

I have about five friends/colleagues (Australian) who gained admission to Cambridge and each said they received an email offer before CamSIS was updated. Something to think about!

I think many of us are just eager to see a change of status on CamSIS at this point - 'BOGS-ed'.

Hey guys. I am an Indian, and my status turned BOGs'd today. It only says "awaiting consideration by board of graduate studies". I just hope it means a positive news! Best of luck to everyone who is waiting for a status change.

Hi, mine also says 'awaiting decision' by BOGS. I believe this sounds more positive than 'awaiting consideration' though, or maybe I'm just trying to be overtly optimistic about my situation!

Just got an offer from Cambridge. I was BoGSed two Fridays ago.

I'm sorry to say this, but someone else in this thread who was awaiting CONSIDERATION (instead of decision) for the MCL was rejected. I think there is a big difference.

Well then, from what it sounds I am in the same boat as you. Hoping to hear a good news soon. Glad that they've started final offers too. Congratulations to you!

I know the wait is painful, but - easier saying now - there is no need for desperation. If you have been BoGSed and it says they're satisfied with your application, you'll get an offer. It just seems that they take an awful long time to do that.

I'm a UK-based LLM applicatant - status changed to "awaiting decision of BoGS" in the last 30 minutes.

My status just changed to 'conditonal offer'. I am not sure when I was BoGSed, it must have been over a week ago.
