I appreciate that this is not super pressing for the moment but I am curious - does anyone know if the "reasons for applying" essay appears to the assessors as one big block of text without paragraph spaces (as it appears to us when you download the application)? Or does it retain the paragraph spaces we might have put into the text field?

Hi, yes, mine appears to be a block of text as well, with no paragraph spacing. I am concerned whether this compromises on the quality of the text because the assessor might conclude that we did not include paragraphs in our RFA. Is this the same for everyone?

Hi, the same thing happened to me as well. I tried to adjust the spaces while copy pasting into the online form but it made no difference. I also saw threads from previous years suggest that this is just a thing with the form every year for some reason. Hope that helps.

hi, longtime lurker here! I have a question that might seem trivial, so please pardon me if it's obvious to everyone else. Does the status "Decision Pending - Your application is currently under review" correspond to the DP stage that everyone seems to be so happy about, or does it indicate that I am in some weird transitional phase between stages? I must admit that I have not been checking the portal regularly so I cannot really tell if it has been like this since the beginning. i would hate to get excited for no reason haha.

thanks a lot and good luck everyone!!!

hello all! i seem to gather that a DP is usually a good sign of an offer, even if the offer only comes much later. however, if we don't get DP by 1 march, is it a sure sign of an unsuccessful application? im still stuck at "under review", and honestly the anxiety is horrible. best of luck to everyone!

Hi everyone! I was just going through last year’s thread and it seems that people were reporting
PAOs well within March and offers were given out until April and the deadline was on Dec 1 last year as opposed to this year’s Dec 5. I don’t think all hope is lost for those still under review. That being said, does anybody know how we know last year’s PAO is this year’s DP, and do we know for sure that that’s the case?

Would I be correct in saying there has not been anyone to receive a DP in both the MCL and LLM? I haven't seen anyone say that they have yet...

This is such a nerve wracking day.

I think you're right. I haven't seen who received both either. I wonder if they will choose a suitable program for us this year. Looking forward to seeing some good news.

May be the case! Still hopeful for DP movement for the LLM today.

Hi all - just reporting that my portal has changed to 'conditional offer made', though I haven't received an email yet. The very best of luck to everyone waiting!
