Cambridge LL.M. Applicants 2023-2024

Hello, I was PAOd sometime before March 3rd, still waiting for the offer.

I was curious though, I failed to submit any TOEFL/IELTS results. Do you think the PAO will reject me on this basis? Wouldn't like to be in the 1% that gets rejected post PAO...

I didn't upload IELTS results when I submitted my application either, and I received a conditional offer a week ago (PAO'd 15/2). So, there is no need to worry about that. Your conditional offer will simply state that you have to take the exam/submit a test.

Hello everyone. Congrats to all offer holders! I hope the rest of us get some peace soon too.
That being said, I am getting a bit concerned right now wrt the offers. I was PAO'd around 14th/15th of Feb and the status on the applicant portal still has not changed from "Awaiting approval from PAO". I wonder if its indicative of impending bad news...

Would anyone know what the odds of getting PAO'd and then rejected are?

I received my offer the other day, however, from what I can see online, being on PAO for a while isn't a bit thing. One person was on it for months and it turned out Cambridge were just trying to find her funding! It may even be a good thing.

Hi does anyone know whether Cambridge requires current students to send an original/certified copy of the final transcript/degree certificate in June? I'm an international student studying at a UK university, but I'll not be here in UK when my final results come out. I'm worried whether Cambridge is satisfied with receiving a digital copy of my documents, or else I'll have to make earlier plans

Congrats on your offer!

That is quite reassuring. Thank you! I hope that's the reason why it's taking this long.

How do you find out about colleges?

If you log into your self-service portal, and check the table indicating your offer at the bottom of the page, you will see your college membership status in one of the columns

Hello all! I ticked yes at the check-box which asked if I’d want to be considered for Cambridge trust scholarships. But I didn’t make any separate applications ( I believe Cambridge shared scholarship needs to make one). Will I still be considered for some awards? Thanks so much in advance! And sorry if this has already been answered/ discussed before.

If the academic condition doesn’t specify a grade required but just that a degree is “completed” does that mean I just need to pass?

You just need to pass.
As explained in the Guide to Offers and Conditions:
"4.4 Completion of current study (no specified grade)
If you are currently registered on a degree level course but have not been set a condition to achieve a particular grade (including a pass), any offer made is conditional upon you completing, intermitting or withdrawing from it."
