Hello! I note from previous discussions that those with PAOs have higher chance of an offer, but may I know whether being waitlisted is also a possibility for those with PAOs?
Also is there any way to check when did my status turned PAO as I only checked my portal in late Feb and it has already turned PAO then, but I'm not sure as to the exact timing of the change. Thank you!!
I don't think that someone can be waitlisted once moved to the PAO stage. This is my assumption based on the fact that the Faculty and Degree Committee are the ones who have a say in academic qualifications and hence can decide who meets the criteria and who does not in order to be waitlisted. The PAO just checks whether the documents submitted are in line with their requirements / there is any falsified document / you do not come from a verifiable university, and I think it's only logical that it does not have the power to waitlist someone. Correct me if I'm mistaken :)
