Cambridge LL.M. Applicants 2023-2024

Selective ...

Thank you i really appreciate your kind words and motivation but i graduated in 2021 and worked under a sitting judge for 14 months even got their recommendation. Honestly don't know how i can do better than that for a college application but i guess it is what it is. Just immensely sad right now but still thank you ????.

Your emotions are completely valid. It's normal to be really really sad after what can be quite a heart-breaking rejection. The fact you even applied for the Cambridge LLM and Oxford BCL in the first place speaks volume about the love you have for this subject and there is no doubt in my mind you've poured your heart and soul into your application. That's why it hurts so much.

But it is just one roadblock. Trust me, there are many more roads out there. Good luck2764

Oh, right! Thank you.

Please How does one gets informed of a rejection decision? An email or through checking the application portal?

This is informative but the number is a lot- over one thousand persons.  Do they give out that much offers? I would have said it’s a list of applicants for the 2020/2021 LLM Programme.

It is a list of all applicants. The second column tells you whether they have been given an offer (blank meaning no, "Y" meaning yes).

I saw the email first. The slaying is quick and clean. The email is short and sweet.

What does not hearing anything this week mean? Based on chatter on this forum I was sure this week I will hear something one way or another but my application is still under review by department :/
At this point it is the waiting which might kill me

Does anyone know what the cut off date for when “under review” applicants get moved to PAO is?

edit: I mean when is around the last date for people to me moved to PAO

Congratulations! Does anyone know what condition do they usually expect? Is a low first like 70 on the dot or will they expect a high first like 75+?

I’ve been told it’s usually just a first - however your institution does that. I’m a current Cambridge undergrad, and my condition is a first, and in the Cambridge system you can get a first without getting 70+! So i assume it’s just a standard first

Great thank you! I was actually scared of meeting the conditions, because I know it's absolutely impossible for me to get 75 in my year 3. For me, even getting a 70 needs a lot of effort and luck.

Another one bites the dust, sadly. Did not receive an email yet, but hey, it is what it is. Good luck to everyone still waiting

Hey, sorry to hear that! Read earlier in the thread that you got offers from UCL and LSE? So many more opportunities lie ahead for you. All the best!

That's the spirit! I might have to have a go next year too if they decide to axe me last minute.
