Hey even my status says 'Awaiting Consideration by Department'.I am from GLC, Mumbai. I don't think they have started to review applications from India but i think its a long shot.
Thankfully i have an offer from LSE and UCl.

...but its started for India. I know someone whose status has changed. Mine is still the same.

Indian applicants can expect statuses to change any time now. Mine changed sometime over the weekend.

llmapplicant2012, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it appears that the Australian offers concluded on Thursday before the department moved on to Germany. Luckily, as stellarlights explained, there appears to be further rounds of offers later in the year.

What are the chances that an offer might be withheld after a status change?

My status also changed during the weekend and I have the same question. To rephrase: does anybody know or has heard of a person who was rejected by the BoGS, after being recommended by the Degree Committee?

Congrats!! My status changed, too. I am German and my first status change was also on Wednesday. It says now: "Conditional Offer Made" plus "Seeking College membership". Under View/Ammend: "Status: The Board of Graduate Studies has made you a conditional offer of admission." Awesome.
