Yeah, actually he's a nice chap. I really don't know, why he isn't able to behave properly on this board. Maybe, because he has to return to his boring office in Germany very soon ;-)

LOL. But this is not the only board where he behaves badly. He has been trolling on the Cambridge LLM boards for 2014 and the new one for 2015. But well, diversity is the beauty of life.

Yeah, you're right. I noticed that as well. Like I said, we think at Petershouse, that he's a good guy. However, if we read that stuff he's posting here, we're quite happy that he's leaving soon ;-)

His address is - Peterhouse, Cambridge, CB2 1RD, United Kingdom, just in case you want to find him and beat him up for all his trolling. LOL!

Hi all

Thought I would add to this post. My husband was also nominated by Cambridge for CSSS. We emailed the university about a week ago to find out the status of his application as it has been absolute silence since submitting the application.

This was the response:
"I am sorry, I do not have any further news for you at the moment. The Cambridge Trust had hoped to hear from the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission by now, we hope it will not be too much longer.
I can promise you that as soon as the Cambridge Trust knows the outcome of your application, you will be contacted by email."

It doesn't really say much but it's not all together a rejection.

Keep the thread going! It keeps the little hope we have left going!

Has anyone received a formal rejection or letter of regret from Cam? I emailed Carmen Butler a week back, but haven't heard back since. Is it safe to assume that possible Commonwealth Shared awards have all been announced by now?

As of today, all Commonwealth Shared Scholarships have been announced and the recipients have been notified! Infact that list appears on the Cambridge Trusts website! Unless one of them turns it down, there is no other scholarship! However what is strange is that unlike in previous years where Carmen sent out emails to reserve candidates, this year they have decided to just be quiet! I think they are adopting the idea that if you do not hear back, then you are unsuccessful!
