Or simply people just cannot be bothered to look through this thread the threads of previous years.<br><br>You will see (if you bother to look at previous threads) that there have always been a few users who receive their offer before others.<br><br>The reason for this (as I have previously stated in this thread).<br><br>Stronger applicants receive their offers earlier they are the 'cream of the crop' , Cambridge University then filter through the applications to form their ideal cohort.&nbsp;<br><br>This cohort is based not only on strength of applications but diversity quotas, backgrounds and what benefits students bring to the rest of the cohort.<br><br>If your MCL application has gone to GOA, it is likely that your LLM application will go to GOA too.<br><br>In the past there have been students still under review who don't go to GOA but receive their offers via email later in the month.&nbsp;<br><br>If your application goes to GOA then it is highly likely that you have been granted admission into Cambridge University.<br><br>^ To the person who commented in this thread stating something like 'I did see a case where one student went to GOA and got rejected but couldn't remember where I saw it'.<br><br>I didn't see that... and since the person couldn't bother to take the time to remember or look through previous threads before making such a comment I would dismiss it.<br><br><br>But yes to put this comment to bed. I am trying not to get prematurely excited haha and was wondering if anyone had heard yet/ had any insights into when one might hear!&nbsp;<br><br>Also, I have to ask - do people still get rejected after their portal updates to "awaiting approval by GAO"?<br><br>Btw, my LLM application status is still "under review".

[/quote]<br><br>My understanding is that rejection after getting into the GAO approval stage is highly improbable due to its administrative nature. The status of my LLM application has also changed into GAO approval stage&nbsp; (since 14th February). The website states that it takes around 10 days to process the application after getting into said stage.<div><br></div>
