Hey, I was just admitted for the MCL and received an offer from Churchill College. I’m not from the UK so I don’t know much about colleges, therefore I will like to know if Churchill College is a good option or what do you think about it.
Thanks for the help.

Right after being rejected by my first option (Caius), I was admitted to Hughes Hall (saw through the portal).
I am doing some research here... but anyone would have any comments on Hughes?

It was my college. No regrets.

So .. I just checked my self-service account and it seems I satisfied all conditions because it now reads "Admission confirmed" and the header at the top of the page has changed to "Post-confirmation".
Anyone has any idea on what happens next? Do we get (physical or electronic) mail now with information or?

Including the finance condition?

Including the finance condition?
Yeah. I'm self-funded partially (worked for 2 years and saved money) and I also have a scholarship from Rotary

MCL conditional offer
Congratulations! Wonder how you'd compare the MCL against the MLF at Oxford? Thanks :)

From what I understand, the MLF is much more finance-oriented (i.e. subjects such as statistics), with a touch of law, whereas the MCL is more law-orientated with a focus on corporate law (not much finance). So I guess it depends on what you're up for; if you're working in a corporate law environment or in-house, they will both be incredible. But if you're likely to struggle with the hardcore financial subjects then rather go with the MCL. Those are my two cents at least :)

Hi all! Does anybody know whether LLM students get automatically considered for scholarships or funding regardless of the College they're admitted into? I read that 80% of scholarships awarded last year didn't require a separate application. I was wondering if this still holds true for LLM students. Many thanks!

I understand that is the case. But in relation to funding from the University, not the Colleges themselves.
Has anyone actually received any news on funding?

Guys, how long does it take for the offer to become unconditional, provided all the docs are in order?
