Called Cambridge. I asked if it can be assumed that because we haven't heard anything so far our applications have been unsuccessful - the answer was no. So they're still making decisions, keep your heads up, guys!

P.S. I've also been told that by 5 PM we'll know - after that the offices are closed.

Thank you Mombastic. So, for your chat we can assume that all decisions will be released today?

Bad news - my status, too, has changed to "unsuccessful". I suppose an e-mail will follow... or do you think those rejected will only be notified through the applicant portal?
Congratulations to everyone who has been admitted!

I am sorry to hear that but I saw that you were admitted to Columbia, which is a fantastic opportunity too!

Anybody else disappointed by the fact that International Commercial Litigation, International Financial Law, Competition Law might not be offered. They didn't even put Corporate Governance on the list for possible modules that will or will not be taught?

Is it worth accepting if your choices are no longer offered? Need your opinions? Also, congrats to all those that got offers.

I am very disappointed too. I wonder why they are so silent about Corporate Governance...Also, I hope that they will announce new corporate law related papers replacing those that are not excepted to run.

Thanks, which is why my rejection at Cambridge is not of such great importance to me. I assume I would have attended Columbia anyway, especially since some of the courses I would have opted for at Cambridge will not be offered next year. I wonder whether the latter fact might have contributed to my rejection because I emphasized my interest in several of the papers not offered.

At any rate, I am a bit disappointed with receiving the decision as a mere status on the applicant portal. To be sent an e-mail announcing one's rejection I think would be the least you could expect as an applicant. After all, applicants usually invest a lot of time and effort (and some money, too!) before applying.

Congratulations to those admitted and best of luck to those that did not make it - I am sure you will have an excellent year wherever you go!

Does anyone know when we should expect to receive the funding decisions?

Many thanks.

I assume that will be in your offer details, no? Unless you are talking about the Gates scholarship, to which other deadlines apply.
