Any one received LSE offer?

cng1238

Just received a conditional offer from LSE :-)

I applied on 15/11, the condition is to obtain 1st class honour.

"

Can I ask you what your application looked like? (grades, extracurricular..)

I'm really anxious my grades won't be good enough to get in.. Are they really that strict on e.g. obtaining 70%?

Well, my GPA is 3.5x which is likely to land me a 1st hon (last year it took 3.4x to get 1st hon in my school)

I've been working for more than 10 years in non-law related fields (IT industry). I hold a volunteer position in a NGO as vice-convener, have assisted in running a couple of election campaigns, have co-authored an introductory book on that. So my so-called EA have very little to do with the laws :-)

Just got mine! Unconditiinal offer. Lseforyou was updated today.
I didn't apply to Oxbridge, so LSE is where I'm going.
See you there!

Thanks. My application went complete on November 15th. I didn't get any email, I've been checking Lseforyou the whole day long. The weird thing is that they say they sent the offer letter on the 13th, so they're letting people know about their decisions at least a week after.
Good luck!

For anyone in a similar situation- just thought I'd drop by to say that I'm a non-law student with the GDL who has been admitted.

I received an e-mail today informing me of an unconditional offer. No financial support though.

Subsequently I checked "LSE for you", which states that a letter was sent to me on the 20th of January. I recall checking in on "LSE for you" just a couple of days ago and then there was no mention of any offer. Therefore it seems that the tracking system is far from being directly linked to the decision making process.
