I am a french attorney. I have submitted applications for LLM in several UK schools of law (UCL, LSE, King's). I am considering applying for a Queen Mary LLM.

But one question : do you think an LLM really enhance your career path? Have you heard about people's careers after graduation?

Also : Do you think it is possible to work in the UK with a LLM, when you have a french background. Law firms seem to hire only solicitors. I am not a solicitor but a french attorney. And what about the companies?

yes i do consider a llm enhances your career opportunities,,,,employers tend to look at that,,there´s much competition so a LLM will help you stand out for sure

working in the uk as a lawyer being a foreigner is not easy at all,,,so dont get your hopes too high,,,,you can try but take into consideration that its difficult
