Could you just... Ehm... relax a bit? I don't want to be mean and believe me, I know how frustrating this whole process is but overreacting like this won't do much good either (apart from annoying everyone else).
If you are unsure, call them. Maybe they had a reason why the language policy is different this year. Maybe they initially planned to use it as a method to weed out people and then abandoned the idea. So just call them.
As for Azuz and some other people, they got emails because some documents were missing. It's not a standard procedure so don't worry of you haven't got an email. As far as I know, and please correct me if I'm wrong, the status has not been updated yet.

If you cant afford to call them, how can you afford to study there for a llm?
I often check the forum to get updates and see if anyone has any news on their application - and i am sure a lot of others do too - please just calm the caps lock down. I realise its an anxious wait, but you aren't the only one in that situation.
Apologies for the tone of this post, but its frustrating coming onto this forum sometimes and seeing posts where clearly no consideration has been given to their appropriateness

Leo. And I consider my country irrelevant to my post.
Posted Jan 24, 2013 12:39
of course leo, the worst one ever!
i know two girls with this zodiac sign and both of them are b*&^$#s! Countries arent irrelevant at all! This information maybe says a lot about you or maybe not.
anyway, ontopic, please let me know about the language requirement.

Why don't you email them about the language requirements?

anyway: http://www.admin.cam.ac.uk/students/gradadmissions/prospec/faq/graduate/index.html#english
"You do not need to take the test before you apply, but, if you are made a conditional offer and have not already met our English language requirements, one of the conditions of your offer will be that you pass a test at the required level. Please note that test results are only valid for two years."

I guess this is what wohoo is referring to, though:
"At the time you submit your application, you must demonstrate that you have the necessary command of English to participate fully in the Cambridge LL.M. If your native language is not English or if you do not have a degree (minimum three years) from a university whose language of instruction is English, your application will not be considered unless you submit appropriate language test results (along with the rest of your supporting documents)."
Don't department specific requirements usually supersede
GOA requirements? I think I read that somewhere but I can't remember.

you're right, specific requirements usually prevail. during the application process on camsis, however, i only had to upload an official cambridge document i found on the website stating:
"I have read the information below and I do not have a current
IELTS/TOEFL score report but understand that if I am made
an offer this may be a condition of my admission. (...) If you do not have the required English language test results at the time of application, do
not delay submitting your application for this reason. If you are made a conditional offer,
one of the conditions of admission may be that you pass a language test at the correct
level."
i don't think there would have been the possibility to upload it if they had wanted a language test. but i can't say for sure of course.

Makes sense. On the other hand, there was still whole other bunch of stuff you could upload without them applying to you.
But I hope I'm wrong :/

if they asked for his transcript this means that the language requirement is just crap. Because they wouldn't even need the transcript if he didnt fulfil the language requirement, given it was a necessary requirement. so they're just lieing on the website!!!!
so crappy of them to do that!!!!
