Toefl score and NYU

minnyc

Hi,

I have a question concerning NYU's toefl score requirement. I read that the minimum score requirement is 250 (CBT) or 100 (IBT). Does it mean that if you don't reach this minimum requirement, your application is automatically rejected ?

As far as I'm concerned, I took the IBT test and my score was 92/100. I am a French attorney and I have been working for a US law firms for 3 years. I did my studies at Paris II.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me.

Further to my last post, it's not 92/100 but 92/120. (it's a big difference ;-)

You should call them and ask, but this is what their homepage said about the TOEFL: "There is no conditional admission status for applicants who do not achieve the minimum standard."

Maybe it is possible to ask for an exemption? I have done that successfully myself b/c I went to high school in the US. But that wasn't NYU.
