Indian student- llm in USA

janeb

Hi everyone,
I'am new to this forum.
I just gave my LLB exams(Law Degree in India) and I'am planning to go for masters in US.
Finding too difficult to search universities and programs and their eligibility criteria and other stuff as well.
I'am about to appear for my TOEFL and ELTS exam.
Any advises??

It's not really that difficult. Each law school will have different eligibility requirements, so look at the webpages for the LLM programs you're interested in.

The only advice I have would be to get as high a TOEFL/IELTS score as you can! To apply for the NYU LLM, you need a minimum TOEFL score of 100 or an IELTS band score of 7, with different sub-section requirements.

Most top US law schools will want scores in those range. Upenn is also 100 TOEFL / 7 IELTS, Harvard is 100 TOEFL, Georgetown is 100 TOEFL / 7.5 IELTS, Columbia is 105 TOEFL.
