Hello!
My name's David, I'm from Georgia(country). I am studying on Bachelor's 4 years course programme. I'm in my 3rd year, so I'm thinking where can I countinue studying. In my country there is Civil Law(legal system), I want to work in my country after the LLM programme, so I don't know which country to choose, which university or college have good LLM programmes for Civil Law system.
Need advice for choosing LLM program

Hey David,
You would have to be more specific: what area would you like to specialize in? General Georgian civil law? International Business Law? Or something else?

The common wisdom is to get your foundational legal training in the jurisdiction where you intend to practice. If you want to be a lawyer in Georgia, learn Georgian law at a law school in Georgia.. For LLM and further studies, it does make sense to go overseas and get a new perspective, improve your language skills, etc.

I agree with Grumpy. If you solely want to practice in Georgia and learn about civil law, I think you should get a master's degree in Georgia.
LLMs are useful if you want to specialize in a specific subject, often international, and get an international experience. If you just want to study Georgian civil law, I doubt it would be useful to you to get an LLM, if there even is such a thing as an LLM in civil law.
