Hey I am applying to Leiden PIL LLM program too.
Do you know how long this program will be under consideration?
Posted Nov 08, 2022 11:46
@chelsea345 they will get back within 6 weeks or so.
Which one are you applying to? PIL or Advanced PIL?

Advanced PIL. But I heard some applicants of other LLM programs had known the final result within one month (some even within one week) ...I am wondering whether I can know the decision earlier than that posted on the website...

No idea about that. Honestly, no one can tell you that - including admissions committee. Best to wait. I understand the waiting period kills. I'll be in the same boat in about 2 weeks, if that's any relief. :)

OHHHH thank you for your reply... I have been waiting for the decision for 3 weeks, and today I got an offer from another school asking for a great amount of deposit amount within 2 weeks... I do not know what to do next, but honestly I want to wait for the decision of Leiden...

Classic dilemma that every applicant faces. Really can't help you there. But you could possibly help me when I go through something similar in the coming weeks. :)

Hi,
I am also applying to Leiden’s PIL LLM. Last year, I was admitted to those three law schools you mentioned, but I chose to have a gap year. My friend told me Leiden hasn’t issue any decision for regular PIL this year.
I submitted my application for UU in mid October last year, and received the decision on 6 December. As for Leiden, I was applying for the advance LLM in ICL in the first place, and got the rejection letter after two months in mid February. Two weeks later, I got the acceptance of the regular course of PIL. The decision of Amsterdam law school had not been made until April.
Hope my information could be helpful.Good luck for us all!

Hi, Ed chang. I'm in the process of applying to UU. Could you tell me how quickly did studielink generate link for referees (since UU only asks for contact of referees)

Hi everyone. Im applying to UU but I’m unsure about what track to choose. I’m between human rights / conflict and security. Any opinions? Do you know any alumni of either track? Thanks!

I'm applying to Amsterdam and I was hoping to make it to the 15 January deadline but I'm having some issues with the paperwork. Does anybody know if Amsterdam decides on a rolling basis or only after the two deadlines (15 January/1 april)

Hello, I want to apply to Leiden (Adv. LLM on Law and Digital Technologies). How long will they give the decision after we submit the admission? and how long they give us a waiting period time to think about the decision?

Is anyone applying to the Law and Technology LLM? Plus the UES talent scholarship?
Posted Feb 28, 2023 18:38
Hi! Has anyone recieved a decision from Leiden? I applied for the Adv. PIL more than 7 weeks ago. Since their website says it shoudl take between 4-6 weeks I emailed them, but they told me this is a normal waiting time. They even said that it can take up to 8 weeks, but im starting to get worried haha.

Hi ! I received my decision today for the Advanced LLM in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration programme. I have been conditionally admitted, I wanted to enquire that in case I do accept this right now, would I be able to revoke my acceptance at a later stage ?

HI! I just admitted for the advanced PIL. Is there already a whatsapp group for incoming students?
Posted Mar 07, 2023 13:11
Should we just create a general Whatsapp group for those who got admitted into one of the Leiden LLM Programmes?
