Hello!

I have applied to the programme at Su.Se. Awaiting Results. Our Applications are being assessed right now. If I'm not wrong, results will be declared in the first ten days of April.

I have also applied for Uppsala's Investment Arbitration Programme. My application status says qualified, which is explained to be my eligibility has been confirmed but selection is yet to happen.

Hello there LN_LLM!!

Glad to hear from you, I would absolutely second you as I have applied to Stockholm and Uppsala as well and as you mentioned earlier only the Uppsala University status has been updated so far.

Hey everyone. Congratulations to all the offer holders. I have been placed on the waiting list and have a question to anyone who is in the same situation or knows the answer.
Do I have to pay the tuition fees to remain on the waiting list? Or once and if I get alloted a place I have to pay the tuition fees?

Hello all,

Hope everyone is safe and healthy. I have also been placed on the waiting list and I do not think we have to pay the tuition fees.

On the portal, it reads:
"You've been placed on the waiting list. If you're offered a place, your admission will be considered conditional until you've paid the tuition fee.  This does not mean that you'll be offered a place if you pay the tuition fee. Your reserve status and conditional status are not related."

I am not sure myself but as far as what the admission results say, we don't have to pay fees unless we are contacted about being placed in the selected group. Swedish Universities, as far as I am aware, do not follow a formal acceptance to the offer, the payment of deposit is considered acceptance.

Regardless if you check the portal now at universityadmissions.se, it says the following line :

"Application information - CONDITIONALLY PLACED ON RESERVE
Tuition fee required. The selection process for reserve applicants has begun. If you're awarded a place during this process, you'll receive an email and new Notification of Selection Results from University Admissions. The university will most likely contact you as well. At this time, there is nothing more you need to do. You've been placed on the waiting list. If you're offered a place, your admission will be considered conditional until you've paid the tuition fee. "
As they said, "Nothing more you need to do now."
All the best for the wait. I'm awaiting results in the same group. Will keep you all informed about it if I hear anything from the university.

I read on some blog last year that they contacted some students on the waiting list around April 24, I’m also waiting for that date. Good luck!

Did anyone else notice that the selection group reduced to 51 from 52? Has anyone from the waiting list gotten an offer yet?

I think its because people on the waitlist have declined the spot on the waitlist and not because people have gotten offers. I didn't move forward in the queue.

"Dear *************,
Many thanks for your email and question regarding the reserve list.We are starting to go through the answers from the admitted students towards the end of this week and after that we’ll know if we’ll call candidates from the reserve list. The ICAL programme is aiming for 30-35 students admitted every year and depending om how many students that decline their offers will determine how many (if any) candidate will be called from the reserve list. We always admit more students than needed directly, since some applicants drop out along the way. In the Notification of Results, you can find the number of admitted students for the programme, and you can compare it with the number you have on the waiting list for a qualified guess regarding eventual admission.  Kind Regards

********************"

This is what I got from them today.

That would mean that the number would have to go down from 41 to 35 at least for anyone on the waitlist to be considered right?
