Application without english requirement yet

Queen88

Hi!

I am going to apply for some LLM in commercial law in UK (Edimburgh, KCL, QMUL, UCL) and Nederland (UvAmsterdam, Maastricht), but i am going to do IELTS test in the summer. Is it a problem? Does the application must be complete since the beginning?
I know that, in case of acceptance, they accept you with reserve untill they get the english requirement, anyone can confirm it?

Thanks all.

Hi! I really can't tell you provide you with any specifics about UoW, AvA and Maastricht, but I applied to KCL, QMUL and UCL (and am enrolling on QMUL) and if you haven't fulfilled their language requirements you can definitely apply and get a conditional offer, which means you can take the test in the meantime. If you get the score they ask for you can secure your place on the program, and if you don't, you lose it. But I'm pretty sure you'll do just fine! Just make sure to apply as soon as possible!

This is more or less standard procedure, so I'm fairly positive that it works the same way in the rest of the schools you're applying to. Good luck and make sure to email me in case you choose QMUL!

Thank you for answering! Indeed i was pretty sure i could get ( actually i hope to be able to do!) a conditional offer and i think the procedure is the same for every unis. I am going to graduate next week! so after my graduation i will apply immediately for all those programs.
I will definitely contact you in case of positive outcome at QMUL! ;)
