Hi,
I know this kind of questions can be annoying sometimes but I need some opinions.
I'm a 3rd grade student and I'm going to graduate next year.
I'm at top %5 (GPA : 3,4)
I have published an article in my faculty's law review.
This summer, I'll be an intern in the Competition Authority of my country for a month.
I want to apply for LLM in next year.
I'll apply to Leiden, King's College London, Queen Mary, Berkeley, Tillburg, Boston.
Do you think that I can get into these universities ? Do i have a chance for scholarship opportunities?
And are there any universities which I can get into and you recommend me to apply ?
Your grades fulfill the minimum standards for a successful application to the schools you mentioned.
But there's one more problem:
So far you've only told us about your strengths.
But what about your weak points?
That scholarship you missed.
That internship at Freshfields the other guy got.
That journal article you still haven't finished.
That one failed exam in second year.
That chick who's ranked first and is banging the dean and will be getting that letter you're longing for so bad.
I'm sure there's something.
Please tell us what it is.

Thanks for replying Eppendorf. Your post is really helpful.
My weak points
----------------------
1-) The summer intern at the Competition Authority in this summer will be the only internship on my CV. I think I should've worked first and second year's summer sessions.
2-) I have not experienced a moot court competition.
3-) My college is not a high ranking college in my country. (Actually I got into the best law school in my country but I had to transfer to my current college(with scholarship) because of some personal problems.
4-) My english skills are good enough to fulfill the minimum requirements but, I think, it's not sufficient. (IELTS = L : 6.5 / R: 8.5 / W : 6.5 / S : 7.0 = OVERALL : 7/9)
By the way, the dean guaranteed that he will write a recommendation letter for me. Is that an advantage for me ?
Finally, are there specific law schools which are recommended by you for me ?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Please ignore Eppendorf. He or she is just a troll.
I'd say based on your grade profile you should stand a decent chance at those universities. Your Dean's recommendation letter will help - make sure you get it.
Do also consider the other London universities such as UCL or SOAS.
