As job opportunities, I think it depends on where you want to work. I do not aim to work in Austria. I plan to come back in my country. In any ways, University of Vienna is one of the oldest and good schools in Europe. So, I go for it :)

blue, take a look at the courses... you can see if it's oriented to your interest area... it has a lot of options so if you have a previous idea of what you want you can make your own path... regarding to the rest I have the same questions that you have... and no answers so far. Sadly when it comes to law related studies I believe there are no insurances, only a leap of faith... sucks doesn't it? :p

Thanks mfrosti for your answer and you're right it seems difficult to obtain informations. About the programme, subjects appear very interesting and matches with my interests; it looks like some teachers come from Stanford Law School and it could be an advantage. Furthermore I read Vienna is ranked as the 5th in Qs best student city rankings. Anyway it will be useful if some former students could write about their experiences.

hi guys!
It sounds as if you have already been accepted....is that so? How long did it take?
I'm working in Vienna and thinking about applying to the part-time track. Does anyone have an idea about the workload each course represents?
Thanks!

Hi everyone !
I have just received my acceptance letter for the program to start in October.
More than the classes, I am mostly concerned by housing issues. I would like to apply for a room in a student residence but the procedure look a bit obscure to me. Does any of you already have something settled in this regard ?
I am really looking forward to meeting you !
Greetings,
Anne

Write to OEAD or maybe Akademikerhilfe, you will easily find lists of all the available student housings on the internet.
But I admit that you are a bit late, most students already apply in the spring (specially to the popular places).
Do you speak any german? Maybe you would like to share a flat, but the following website is in german: www.jobwohnen.at, klick on "wohnen" = living, some people write their adds also in english.
Do you know where you would like to live?

Hello everyone,
I found a good website where you can rent rooms in flatshares. If you access it via Google Chrome, you can ask Google to translate the page which makes it all possible to those of us who don't speak German. The website is http://www.easywg.at
I will be renting my room in an apartment where there are other rooms available, if anyone is interested.

By the way, I asked all of you to become my friends on FB. My name is Cecilia Varjal. :-)
I look forward to meeting you all, very soon!
I will arrive in Germany this Saturday, where I will study German for one month prior to departing to Vienna...hopefully I will learn some survival words. This is starting to get real!

Hi, everyone!
I am currently considering applying for the EIBL program, which is about to commence next October 2014. Both the university and the lecturers seem to be very reputable, there is a diverse list of interesting courses covering most of the significant areas in the business law..
However, there is something that really bothers me: it seems that the courses take place only on Fridays and on Saturdays, and that they usually last only 3-4 hours or something!? Is it so? If this is the case then what is expected from the students to do during the rest of the week?
Would appreciate any reply hereto (incl. PM) :)))
