Hello everyone in this Pre-LLM thread! I am currently a Pre-LLM student in International Human rights. I am about to start my masters in September. I see you guys would like to know a bit more about the Pre-LLM.

First of all, it's a very diverse degree, considering that you attend first and second year classes, therefore you meet a variety of people. This is also due to the fact that you follow a variety of different courses, that at first glance may not seem related, but ultimately will all connect together.

Secondly, time goes extremely quickly in the Pre-LLM, it may seem very daunting at first but in no time you have already completed half your credits.

One thing I would note, is that it is entirely normal for Pre-LLM students to fail their initial exams. I failed various exams in my first blocks, not because I wasn't trying hard enough, or attending classes, but the jump from certain studies to a law study can be large. My main advice would be to give yourself some lee-way and just enjoy the experience within the pre-LLM. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to reply!
