Hi! I was wondering, if there are any current students/graduates from the international business law LLM program at Catholic University of Lyon to share your impressions and opinions of this program? Would really appreciate any information!

Hello Natalia, My Name is Jorge Barona, I'm currently doing the Masters of International Business Law at the Université Catholique de Lyon. My impressions of the program are the excellent, since day one you realize it was the right choice. The program covers areas of business law that are very important in my opinion, such as Intellectual Property, Contract Law, Trade organization, Tax law, etc. If you check the list you will see that all the courses are necessary in order to have a more complete learning process. Also, the students come from all over the world which really help you understand their different legal points of view, we all have different experience and different opinions which is the beauty of the law. About the professors I can tell you that they come from many parts too, so you can learn contract law from a French professor and then next week you can learn trade organizations from a US professor and an Australian professor, in my opinion this is a great advantage we have had during this masters. The Program also allows you to take extra courses in order to improve your staying here, french classes are available as well as European Union classes for those who are not EU Citizens. I dont regret my choice to come here because it has been worth it, i believe this masters has everything i was looking for when I started my search almost a year ago. If you have any further questions dont hesitate to ask me. Thanks.

Thanks Jorge, that's great news and sounds like exactly what I'm looking for :) I'm currently choosing between this LLM and their new program with specific focus on trade and investment law. I'm a little cautious about the latter, because it's only being launched for the first time this autumn, but I'm sure both programs must still be very good.
