I come from Thailand. I am also waiting the admission resule. I applied for Maritime Law by self finance. The University of Oslo say it is early of April, so I think we will know it this week. We can do nothing now, just check e-mail everyday :)

I asked this to UiO today, they just responded that all applicants will get e-mail for the result before the end of April 2010. By guess, the Argentine lawyer might get very high score, so they noticed him so early. What do you think so?

ok. you may be right. I am not sure that they completed all the seats for this year. we will wait and see.. good luck to us:)

And am I right that there are only 20 places?
Thanks!
Good luck for us all! )

Hola,
I am a Spanish lawyer and I am also interested in the LLM in Maritime Law in Oslo.
If any of you is admitted in, would you mind to inform about how the things are doing?.
I would be really grateful if any of you could inform me about the jobs perspective after graduation.
Thank you very much.
Carol

Dear Carol,
I applied to several universities to do an LLM Maritime law. I applied to Swansea, Southampton, Cape town Uni and Oslo. All of them accepted me, only Oslo university did not answer yet. I heared that Oslo has a great maritime law institute and that the teaching is super. Even a Southampton professor told me that. I also had some contacts with european law firms, and they all agree that Oslo is a splendid institute. If Oslo accepts me (hopefully I know that soon), I will certainly go to there.
ciaociao!
