about MIDS, i wonder about French master thesis. Dose any one graduating from it have idea about this matter?
I'm on my way finding course on Arbitration for my LLM and really enjoy MIDS. However, I don't know much French, very very little.

Stockholm is well known for arbitration and consequently i guess the llm at this university would be very helpful. I am wondering however, what perspectives, what doors this llm openes once you have graduated. Is there any chance to get a job at lawfirms there in stockholm? can you take the bar there? is knowledge of swedish necesary?

Hi Lalu,
There is no French thesis requirement at MIDS. Also, as exhibited on the program web site, there are more than enough courses taught in English. However, when I begin the program next month, I will likely take advantage of the French language and legal French courses offered through the program's university affiliations.

I don't have access to sufficient applicant numbers and qualifications to vouch whether its admissions are more or less competitive than QM or Stockholm. As has been noted on this board, web searches of MIDS grads suggests that the program's reputation is sufficiently competitive such that its 35 students or so per year seem to fare well on the job market.

WCL is truly strong in arbitration. Anyone serious about arbitration should consider it between it top 3 options at least jointly with NYU and Queen Mary
