Hi there!
I am a student of law in Hungary and I am interested in doing an LLM program in Germany. I checked the programes available and I found a couple of ones offering introduction to the german law, which means they provide on the one hand a general overview of the german law system, on the other hand the students get a chance to deepen their knowledge in a chosen field of law.
I found such programmes in Münster, in Osnabrück, but I do not really want to spend a year in a small town. The other Unis offering such programmes are in Bremen, in München and in Hamburg. I do not want to study in München, and I heard that the Faculty of Law in Bremen does not have a really good reputation, I don't know about the postgraduates programmes though, but I read in the description of the program that the students of this LLM program visit the very same lectures sometimes as the undergraduate law students, which on the one hand is great since I would get there the same education as a german law student, on the one hand if the uni has a lower standard of education compared to other unis, that's not the kind of program i want to spend my money on.
I found this program offered by the Uni Hamburg, the information provided however is quite scarce...Could anyone please help me out? I would appreaciate any kinds of information about this program! Thank you very much in advance!
P.S. I am going to send them an inquiry, but I would like to get some of the students opininions as well please. And yes, I do posess a language certificate which qualifies to the requirements.
Thanks for any help and looking forward to meet some german people in October! :)

So what I found out about this program is that this is a "general LL.M" which means that each student has a professor who looks after him and agrees with the student on the modules he will take. So it's a total flexible program without a specific syllabus and pretty much everything is subject to negotiation according to the chosen focus of the program.
Has anyone heard of a similar program to this?
