LLM European Law - Leiden or Amsterdam

Hi everyone! I could really use some help here!

I have been accepted to both Leiden University and Amsterdam University to study a LLM in European Law, but I'm having a hard time try to choose. If anyone has studied that same programme in any of these to universities, could you please tell me something about the subjects and how tough they were?

I would also apreciate any advise or info on which city/university is best to study!

Thank you!:)

Hi Carla,

I was also admitted to both of those programs but for public international law.
In the end I chose Amsterdam because of the research aspect, but I was quite torn as I think Leiden may have better connections to the Hague institutions for internships and stuff.
I don't know about the subjects specifically but they ought to be relatively similar so I would say you should maybe instead consider the reputation of each of the schools, and how interested you are in the classes they offer (which you can see on their websites)

Both cities are really nice, but Amsterdam is much more lively, as Leiden is really a 'student town'.
