This is a topic I find very interesting and that has not been discussed at all in the forum:

When I scrolled through the forum I noticed that a large majority of the posts were about admission to Oxford, Cambridge, Sorbonne and the Universities in the Netherland. But what about the LL M programmes in the "New Europe"? I am especially thinking about the LL M:s specializing in European law but other alignments can be interesting too. Do you think this could be an interesting alternitive to the more traditional programmes? Perhaps a year in for example the Baltic states could give the student an interesting inside view in a new but expanding region of Europe? Positive and negative sides? Perhaps anyone with who has or know someone who has experience from pursuing an LL M in Riga, Malta or Budapest?

I am especially thinking about the LL M programmes given at Riga Graduate School of Law, a law school partly financed by Gearge Sorros!
