Hello everyone
Have been following these boards for quite a while and found it very helpful when thinking about studying abroad.
I have a bachelor in laws from the university of Copenhagen, Denmark, and have applied for an LL.M. in European Law at Radboud in Nijmegen and for an LL.M. in International and European Public Law - the European Union track at University of Tilburg.
Have just been informed that Radboud have conditionally admitted me, but will still have to wait up to 2 weeks before actually learning these conditions.
I expect an answer from Tilburg within 3 weeks.
I have no personal experience with either Tilburg or Radboud and was therefore hoping that someone in here did.
They both seem to be fairly good uni's with regards to the academic level and about the same size of university.
From the description of some of the courses, Radboud does sound a bit more interesting, but that could always just be because of better descriptions.
Radboud will most likely be able to assist me in finding a place to live in Nijmegen, while I would need to do myself in Tilburg.
My hopes for the LL.M. is both to learn a lot more about the laws of the EU and experience studying abroad. I know these are very "wide" goals, but that's is the best way to describe them.
So in the hope of helping me choose (if they both admit me), I would therefore like to know if anyone in here has any experience with Tilburg or Radboud? And also with Tilburg and Nijmegen as places to live and study?
Best regards
Peter
