So, who is going to Leiden this upcoming year (07' - 08') ?
And in what programme?
I'll be doing the LL.M. (Regular) in Public International Law. I've chatted with a few people from here who are also going, but it would be especially nice to meet even more people!

Hi kris, I'm thinking about applying to Leiden, too. But I will apply for LL.M. (International Tax). What about the admission procedure? complicated? and how long?
Cheers,

Hi Ek,
Don't worry, it is pretty straight-forward. It is all well explained on the application form (see particularly the check-list of requirements on the last page).
http://www.leiden.edu/prospective/content_docs/application/applmasters.pdf
The programme in International Tax, however, is an LL.M. (Advanced) and not a regular LL.M.. As such, it has no "home fee" (if you happen to be an EU citizen) and is aimed primarily at professionals. In contrast, the regular LL.M. has a "home fee" and is aimed at those who have recently finished their Bachelor's degree.
In terms of time frame, it takes a few months for everything to be reviewed (at least in my case). If you plan on applying for 2007/08 school year, I would do it soon.

Hi people!
I would also like to apply for master in international law at Leiden University(08-09). But because my country is not in EU,tution fees are very high. I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina and in my country studies last 4 years (240 ECTS). I will next year finish my studies and I will apply,I dont have nothing to lose. I have friend from Serbia, who is at the moment at Leiden doing MAS,but it is so expensive, about 15 000 euros. Maybe I win next year lottery :-)
Good luck everyone from me...

And in what programme?
I just received my acceptance letter yesterday, I have been accepted into the MA European Studies programme. However I am still not 100% sure about going, there are another two answers I should receive sometime soon plus I have also applied for a European Commission traineeship (I guess I applied for too many things at once :)
What do you guys think about the MA European Studies at Leiden? It sounds very appealing to me, but I do not know that much about this programme's reputation.

Dex - when you recieve your offer/acceptance and in what form did it arrive in? I have applied, but have had no word back from Leiden regarding admission beyond an email saying I would hear word within six weeks.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I think I will choose Leiden, since I've been accepted. See you guys next year. I am from Lithuania, by the way.
