EU Competition Law - Maastricht or UvA?

Kate1998

Hello eveyone!

I'm interested in EU Internal Market and Competition Law. In this regard, I am considering both the LL.M. EU Law & Market Integration offered by Maastricht University and the LL.M. EU Competition Law and Regulation offered by the University of Amsterdam.

Which one is considered to be better? Also, any thoughts on the Problem-based system (PBL) of Maastricht University?

Thank you in advance!

Dear Katerina,
I have also applied to both universities. With respect to Maastricht for the master which you mentioned, and to UvA for European Private Law Master. Well, the ranking clearly classify UvA higher, but I think the quality of teaching is the same. I am thinking to go to Maastricht in the end because of the location. It is on the border with Belgium and so close to Germany too, I have been living on an island for long and now I want to enjoy some borders and the free movement! In terms of how university assists you so far Maastricht has proven to be a little quicker in responding than Amsterdam. About the method, I am not too sure but I enjoy learning new approaches
