Hi,
i was recently admitted into eramus-rotterdam into the general international law program. I already hold a JD from Columbia University in NYC..so is eramus in the same league as columbia? or should I wait to hear back from other places?
The reason why im asking is because I also received a full scholorship and in one of the previous posts someone mentioned that schools in europe are not ranked the way are in the US. So with that said, i would much rather save money and attend eramus (if its good) as oppose to oxford where i will be paying a lot more.
Eramus? any good?

Hi Shalizeh... I return the favor.... I
t is true, in Europe we don't have an official univ. ranking as there is in the US. However I know that Erasmus is a very good university, the study is in English and the professors are highly qualified and competent. I have a couple of friends who studied there, although not for an LLM, but for a JD. They immediately got a job after graduation in some famous international firms. I can ask them for more information.
As far as the comparison Columbia/ Erasmus, I don't know. Which are your other places where you are waiting from?
Hope this helps.
ciao

The University of Rotterdam is a good University. Nevertheless, It is not considered as one of the most prestigious universities neither in the Netherlands or in Europe. Actually, Leiden University, Tilburg and Ultrecht have a better reputation in the Netherlands So,
I recommend you to consider other options.
But, if you do not want to invest a lot money, then I recommend you to go to Erasmus Univestiy.
