Hey everyone,
I was thinking that maybe we could make a facebook group or something where people could help each other out by posting interview questions they got asked and etc?
Ever since I got the invitation to the interview, I've been obsessing about CoE even more so than before.
So far, i've read that the interviews don't seem to be too rough and tough on people but I guess everyone says that?
And Selda, I don't think any of us has. Which two committees did you apply to? I know I applied as a dual national but I specified that I want to apply primarily as a UK national so I didn't even hear from the College itself regarding my other nationality.
I do think that you have a chance, but I don't want to get your hopes up. There must be a soft quota allowing certain number of places to each nationality/selection committee and I don't know if the coordinate a lot. So if you didn't get in through committee A, maybe its because they're oversubscribed while committee B has more spaces and less people?

Hey everyone,
I´m very happy to find this page. I think the idea of making a facebook group is good. I am studying law in Germany and my focus is the european law and international law. My exam was in october 2012 and unfortunatily i´m still waiting for the results:-(
I really want to make my Master in Amsterdam. I think about european law and business law. My plan was always to open an law office in Dubai, so maritime law, petroleum could be a good choice in this case, but on the other hand it is very specific. I am very confused. I really want to work in an international law firm, work on international questions.
I am really looking forward to get an answer.

Just chill Katharinaaa

That's a bit rude, Sinem_86. You're posting in a thread that isn't relevant, so you won't get the answers you're looking for here. Katharinaaa was nice enough to point this out so you could find the right thread to get what you need. You didn't actually ask a question so I'm not sure what answer you're looking forward to getting - but saying you really want to go to university in Amsterdam in a thread about a university that doesn't have a campus there doesn't strike me as very sensible.

Hey! I think the facebook group is a good idea :) Although we could also post the questions we were asked ("we" if I am preselected of course...) here, so for me it's whatever you prefer!

Hello guys!
Thanks God this forum exists, at least I'm conscious of what and when is happening with the applications :)
I just wanted to ask if there is somebody who comes from/studies in Lithuania or Poland? Did you get any update on the results of pre-selection? I applied for LLM in European Law.

Hey everyone!
I am just wondering if everyone that has applied to the LLM in CoE knows French atm?
Good luck with all your applications!
Hey Selda. I'm from Ireland and I applied for the LLM. I studied French for a couple of years in secondary school but I don't remember much... I will need to really improve if I get into CoE. I'm a little worried about it and I was hoping there were others who aren't very good French speakers!

Hi everybody,
Good choice to apply for the CoE!
I just got to know that I got preselected for an interview.
How would you prepare such an intervieuw?
They say it's mainly about university background, motivation, knowledge of the working languages of the College, European knowledge, etc. In fact I'm worried most about the 'European knowledge part'. Any of you has experience with the interview you would like to share? Big thanks!

Hey lilarose1991,
I'm Belgian so I applied directly at CoE in Bruges. The interview will be on Skype with the Natolin campus. Good luck!

Hi!
I would like to apply to the College of Europe and I would like to get some informations and advises from the one who already did it. And I would also like to know is it really really hard to enter ? I mean for example is only one grade througout your law studies enough?
Thank you very much!
