Budget LLM in Europe

Kabelah M

Hello everybody!

I am interested in pursing an LLM in Europe, but I am on a budget.

Can anybody suggest some programs that are not too expensive? Less than 10000 euros would be ideal. Or alternatively if you could suggest some European schools that offer scholarships, that would be interesting to me as well.

Thank you!

There are quite a few options. Check out schools in Scandinavia - University of Oslo or Stockholm University for example. Also, Germany: there are programs at HU Berlin and the Freie Universität that are less than 10,000 EUR.

In France, there's an English language LLM at Paris 1 which just launched this year - fee is 6,000 EUR. Of course you have other options in France such as the LLMs at Catholic University of Lyon.

What specialization / topic are you interested in studying?

I agree, Scandinavian countries have a lot of good programmes at reasonable prices!

Thank you. The reason I am hesitant about Scandinavian and Dutch programs is that they seem to be less known internationally. I think the programs in Germany and France are more interesting to me because they have better prestige. Thanks again!
