Admissions Utrecht 2008/2009

Hello everyone!

I am currently finishing my LLB in France and got admitted to the LLM in PIL both in Leiden and Utrecht but I'm still hesitating between the two.

Do you know how many students are admitted into the regular LLM in Utrecht in both specializations (PIL and European Law)?

Last year, in Utrecht, I guess 50 persons applied and around half of them got admitted (so 25), at least that's what I heard from official sources :)...

Hey guys,

I'd very much like to do a master at Utrecht like some of you lucky fellas here. I got a question though - do I have to send all the necessary files untill the deadline (1st of March); that is, do I have to obtain degree before that date or is it possible for one to send ita couple of weeks, months later? The questions also reffers to the English proficiency test results...

No, don't worry. They know that most people don't have their degree yet. You'll send your grade when you have it next summer.
My advice is: make a perfect cover letter + get good references and send it as soon as you can. It won't hurt either to call up the university (or go there in person if you live close enough), and introduce yourself/ ask to talk to the coordinator. You can make a bogus reason like "I want to know more about the LLM and I'd like to talk to the coordinator".
Good luck :)
